Ontario is reporting 331 new COVID-19 cases and seven deaths from the virus on Tuesday.

The numbers are based on 20,148 tests.

Health Minister Christine Elliott says 195 of the new cases are in people not fully vaccinated or people with an unknown vaccination status.

She says 136 cases are in fully vaccinated people.

The province says 136 people are intensive care with COVID-related critical illness, including 84 people on ventilators.

The province says 88 per of Ontario residents aged 12 and older have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, and 84 per cent have received both shots.
