Ontario is reporting 613 new cases of COVID-19 today, and no new deaths.

Health Minister Christine Elliott says 159 of those cases are in fully vaccinated people, and the rest are either unvaccinated or their vaccination status isn’t known.

There are 184 people in intensive care units due to COVID-19 - seven of them are fully vaccinated, 11 are partially vaccinated, 102 are unvaccinated, and the vaccination status of 64 people isn’t known.

Today there were 135 new school-related cases reported, with the majority in students.

More than one third of today’s new cases are in people aged 20-39.

About 86 per cent of eligible Ontarians have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and about 80 per cent have received both.
