Video shows inside a Uyghur’s detention room in China

Merdan Ghappar is a Uyghur who has been in Chinese custody in the Xinjiang region since January. Video shot by Mr. Ghappar on a smuggled cellphone shows him in his small room handcuffed to a bed with propaganda blaring from speakers outside. Video published on August 4, 2020.
