VAUGHAN, ON, Nov. 29, 2023 /CNW/ - GFL Environmental Inc. (NYSE: GFL) (TSX: GFL) ("GFL") today announced that it is planning to commence, subject to market and other conditions, a private offering of US$700 million in aggregate principal amount of senior secured notes due 2030 (the "Notes"). GFL intends to use the net proceeds from the offering of the Notes (the "Notes Offering") to repay outstanding borrowings under its Term Loan A Facility and a portion of its Revolving Credit Facility. GFL is opportunistically pursuing the Notes Offering with a view to moving more of its debt from floating to fixed interest rates, extending maturities and providing greater flexibility for future refinancings.
